Our client was traveling on a Littleton roadway when another driver turned left across stopped traffic and struck his vehicle. He had undergone herniated disc surgery just seven weeks before the crash and was recovering well, then suffered a new L4/L5 disc injury requiring a full disc replacement. Because he was feeling good before the crash, we were able to show the injury was new, not a continuation of his prior condition.

On a two-lane road in El Paso County, another driver swerved out of her lane and struck our client head-on at highway speed. Our client suffered an open fracture of his tibia and fibula and was trapped in his vehicle for 40 minutes awaiting extraction before being flown to a Colorado Springs hospital by Flight-for-Life.

Our client was stopped in heavy traffic during a four-car pileup on I-70 eastbound near Idaho Springs when an at-fault driver failed to stop and pushed her vehicle into the cars ahead. She had her husband and three young children in the car with her at the time, and all were injured. She suffered a right elbow injury and a left shoulder injury, both requiring surgery, and she missed several months of work while also being unable to care for her young children.
